Volunteer at the hospice
Getting involved as a volunteer is an incredibly meaningful way to give back to your community. The work we do makes a huge difference to individuals grappling with a difficult time in their lives.
Here are some examples of how volunteers over the age of eighteen could support us:
Volunteering with patients
- Serving meals
- Managing the drinks trolley
- Keeping people company
- Providing emotional support
- Running an activity group
- Taking patients out
- Complementary therapy
- Driving patients to and from the Hospice
Other volunteering roles (non-patient facing)
- Office administration duties
- Delivering training
Our buildings also need people on hand to welcome visitors.
